Aboriginal artist Gordon Syron and American photographer Elaine Pelot met nearly 30 years ago, a few days after Gordon finished serving time for murdering his neighbour. Now in their early sixties, this observational documentary follows the pair on their journey - at times sad, confronting and beautiful - in the lead-up to their marriage.
